NOV 22, 2013 - FIRE FINISHES HER CHAMPIONSHIP

After picking up two majors last weekend, Fire went to the South Windsor Kennel Show today
 in West Springfield where she earned another 4 point major to finish her Championship. She moved
her up
the next day and she went Select for a 4 point major towards her Grand Championship.
Congratulations to her co-owner Linda Aronson on her success with this little girl.

NOV 15-17, 2013 - LOTS OF WINS TO REPORT THIS WEEKEND

We had a fun weekend in Syracuse, NY. Linda Aronson drove from MA to meet us there where Fire
(Classical Firefields Entropy) won two 4 point majors with some very stiff competition. With no competition
 in the classes for the Beardies, Chaplin (Can.Ch. Classical's In The Limelight) took a turn in the Rally ring
 and earned two legs in Rally Novice. Frank earned his Rally Novice Title, Lexi earned her Rally Novice Title,
 her CD and 2 legs in Rally Advanced and Rhett (Gch. Classical Master Rhett) earned his Rally Excellent Title.
 Elsewhere this weekend, Gloria earned her Rally Novice Title in PA, Meemie got a Group 3 in FL
and Brinkley got a Group 3 in Ohio.

Frank won the Group today at the Georgina Kennel & Obedience Club show under judge

SEP 29, 2013 - MADISON WINS BEST IN SHOW

Madison won her first all breed Best In Show today at the Burlington Kennel & Obedience Club
Show under judge Judith Bryne. Although only shown on a very limited basis, Madison continues to impress
judges where ever she goes. Madison was handled by Julie on this occassion and is co-owned with Penny

SEP 8, 2013 - GLORIA EARNS HER AXJ AGILITY TITLE

Gloria earned her AKC Excellent Jumpers title today at the National Capital Bearded Collie Club agility trials,
even thought she is only a mini Beardie. Congrations Nona on your accomplishments in the agility
ring with Gloria in such a short time. She is a little star.


SEP 7, 2013 - BRINKLEY FINISHES HIS AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

We are very proud of Brinkley (Classical Let's Be Frank) who finished his championship today at the Kenosha
Kennel Club show in Wilmot, WI under judge Mrs. Evie Sullivan. Brinkley finished with multiple Group
placements in limited showing. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to Brinkley's quick trip to his
championship, especially his co-owner Lisa Ross. Brinkley is Frank's first progeny to earn his American
Championship and the 3rd to finish from this litter with multiple group placements.

JUNE 23, 2013 - HUDSON SETS A NEW RECORD - BEST PUPPY IN SHOW #7

Hudson earned his 7th all breed Best Puppy In Show win today at the Monarch Kennel Club show under judge
Michael Hill who also awarded him with a Group 2nd. Hudson has had an amazing puppy career and is currently

Meemie won Best of Breed all 3 days at the shows in Orlando, FL this weekend and earned two more Group

JUNE 16, 2013 - MEEMIE EARNS HER GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP & 1ST GROUP PLACEMENT

Meemie (Am.Ch. Classical's Magical Meemie) earned her first group placement today at the St. Petersburg Dog
Fanciers Association, Inc. show in Tampa, FL. She also earned her Grand Championship and she did it in
undefeated in the breed. Congratulations to her co-owners Janet Atkins & Charles Namey.


JUNE 14-16, 2013 - ANOTHER GOOD WEEKEND FOR TURNER

Turner (Can.Am.GCh. Classical's My Turn) had another good weekend at the Ontario County Kennel Club Shows
in Orono, ON before heading back home. He earned a Group 1st under judge Barbara Heal and two
Group 2nds under judges Neal Graves and Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonenc. He also earned his CKC Canine Good
Neighbour title. In just two weekends, Turner is ranked as the #1 Beardie and #5 Herding Dog in Canada.

JUNE 14, 2013 - BRAD FINISHES HIS CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Brad finished his Canadian Championship today at the Ontario County Kennel Club Show in Orono, ON by winning
Best of Breed over a Special and on to a Group 4th under judge Allan Pepper. After finishing his American Championship
at 8 months of age, Brad earned his Canadian Championship in 4 shows undefeated in the breed with 4 Best of Breeds
(3 times over Specials) and  3 Group Placements. We are very proud of this handsome boy.

JUNE 7-9, 2013 - TURNER WINS HIS 1ST BEST IN SHOW AND EARNS HIS CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Turner (Am.GCh.Classical's My Turn) made the long drive up from California to the Erie Shores Kennel Club Shows
in Caledonia, ON but it was well worth the trip. Turner made his Canadian ring debut and had a fabulous weekend.
He earned a Group 3rd under judge Robert Shreve followed by Best Bred By Exhibutor in Show under judge
William Usherwood. A Group 1st under judge Les Morrison followed by his first all-breed BEST IN SHOW under
judge Dr. Robert Indeglia and  then a Group 1st under judge William Usherwood.

MAY 31-JUNE 2, 2013 - HUDSON WINS HIS 6TH BPIS & 2 GROUP 1ST

Hudson is on a roll, on the first day at the Aurora Kennel Club Shows he earned his first Group 1st and
Best Puppy  In Group under judge Morley Thornton. On Sunday he won the Group again and Best Puppy In Group
under judge Ron Mahon and went on to win his 6th Best Puppy In Show under judge Morley Thornton.

Hudson had another great weekend at the K.W. Shows in Kitchener, ON. On the first day he earned a Group 2nd

Madison, (Can.Am.Ch. Classical’s Playin With Fire) won Best In Specialty today at the National Capital
Bearded Collie Club Specialty in Timonium, Maryland under English Breeder Judge Maureen Betts (Pipadene).

MAR 29-31, 2013 - HUDSON WINS BACK TO BACK BEST PUPPY IN SHOWS
AND IS A NEW CHAMPION!

Hudson had a great weekend at the Nickel District Kennel Club shows earning a Group 2nd, 3 Group 3rds,
5 Best Puppy In Group and 2 BEST PUPPY IN SHOWS and his Canadian Championship.
Hudson is always owner handled and on this weekend he was very capably handled by his dad, Brian.

After finishing his American Championship last month, Brad has been keeping busy training with
with his other mother, Carolyn Lundberg, and today he took his AKC Canine Good Citizen test and passed

MAR 16, 2013 - BOOMER EARNS 2 MORE AGILITY TITLES

Boomer & Betty went to the Dog On It USDAA trials in Winter Park, FL this weekend and in spite of the warmer
weather, they did well. Boomer earned his final leg for his SS title and also earned his Agility Dog title, becoming
only the 4th Havanese to earn this title.

FEB 16-18, 2013 - BRAD FINISHES HIS AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

During the Mid-Florida Havanese Club Regional Specialty and the supported entry shows in Lakeland, FL,
there was great competition, large entries and a chance to see old friends and make new ones.
Brad managed to earn two more majors (5 point & 4 point) to finish his American Championship at 8
months of age, owner handled. Thank you to fellow exhibitors for your support and the MFHC for a great weekend.

AUG 14-17, 2012 - FRANK WINS THE BCCC NATIONAL

What a Specialty, needless to say we are absolutely thrilled. Frank, (Ch. Sengalas Frankly Classical), our
gorgeous 15 month old English import won Best In Sweepstakes under breeder judge Rosemary Schroeder and
 Best In Specialty under English breeder judge Caroline Nicholson. Frank is the first Beardie to win both
Puppy Sweeps and Best of Breed at a National Specialty. He is owned by Julie Corlett Kempster and Bea Sawka,
was bred by Nick and Angela May and handled by Julie. Madison, (Can.Am.Ch. Classical’s Playin With Fire),
 was Best of Opposite Sex, she is co-owned with Penny Wallace Heck and handled on this occassion by Bea.
 Lexi, (Can.Am.Ch. Classical Alexis On Fire), with 7 week old puppies at home (sired by Frank) made
an appearance and won the Brood Bitch class. Kate, (Ch. Classical Lady Catherine of Earnescliffe) earned her
 first two legs in Rally with very nice scores, congratulations to her co-owner and handler Rita Whale.

 It was such an honor to have Frank’s breeder, Angela May, in attendance, thank you for sharing the lovely Frank

AUG 10-12, 2012 - ZIPPER FINISHES HIS AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Zipper (Ch. Classical Keepin It Together) picked up 2 more points on Friday at the Penn Ridge Kennel Club show
under judge Delores Burkholder and on Sunday he finished his championship by going Best of Winners for a
4-point major at the Harrisburg Kennel Club show under judge Kenneth McDermott. Zipper is co-owned with Judy Higgs
and was handled to all of his wins (except 2 points) by Judy. Zipper is training in agility and he will be making
his debut shortly. Congratulations Judy & Zipper and all the best at the agility trials. Zipper is out of Mraz
(Am.Ch.Ch.Askin Geek In The Pink) & Violet (Ch. Classical Little Miss Show Off). Zipper is Mraz's 20th Champion

JUL 7, 2012 - MADISON FINISHES HER AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Madison (Ch. Classical's Playin With Fire) finished her championship today by going Best of Winners over an
entry of 44 class dogs at the Ann Arbor Kennel Club show in Monroe, MI, very capably handled by her
co-owner Penny Heck. Shown only 5 times in the US, she went to her first show in Florida and went
Best of Winners for her first points, followed by a Best of Breed win over Specials the next day for a 5 major.
In April 2012, Madison went to the National Capital Bearded Collie Club Specialty, in Timinium, MD and
with an entry of 111 Beardies, she won Best of Winners and an Award of Merit for another
5 point major. Madison's brother, Chaplin, Ch. Classical's In The Limelight went 2nd in Open Dog at the
Ann Arbor Kennel Club show and the GLBCC Specialty the day prior, handled by his co-owner Daniela
Zanni. This was Daniela's first time handling a dog in the ring and to place in such stiff competition is amazing.

JUL 6, 2012 - TURNER WINS A GROUP 1 IN CALIFORNIA

Congratulations to Turner (Ch. Classical's My Turn) on winning his first Group 1. After defeating a lovely entry of
23 Beardies at the Channel City Kennel Club show in Ventura, CA, Turner went on to win the Group.

Turner was handled by Mark Lassiter.  Turner also won Best of Breed the next day over an entry of 23 Beardies

At the Victoria County Kennel Club shows, Priscilla, Classical's Always On My Mind (Boomer ex Betty) started
off the weekend by winning Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex over a Special and Best Puppy In Group.
She finished the weekend by going Best of Breed over 3 Specials and winning another Best Puppy in Group.
In total Priscilla picked up 7 points towards her championship.

APR 23, 2012 - ZIPPER WINS A MAJOR

Congratulations to Zipper (Classical Keepin It Together) on winning Best of Winners for a major at the Baltimore County

APR 20, 2012 - NATIONAL CAPITAL BEARDED COLLIE CLUB SPECIALTY

We had a wonderful day at the NCBCC Specialty in Timonium, MD. Frank (Can.Ch. Sengalas Frankly Classical)
started off by winning the 9-12 month Puppy Dog Class, followed by Chaplin (Can.Ch. Classical Who knows)
placing 2nd in the Open Dog Class. Frank went Winners Dog for a 5 point major. Madison (Can.Ch. Classical's
Playin With Fire) went 1st in Open Bitch and Winners Bitch for a 5 point major. In Best of Breed,
Judy (Can.Am.Ch. Kaboodle's Judge Judy) won Grand Select Bitch, Maddison went Best of Winners and Award of Merit
and Frank also won an Award of Merit. Thank you for English breeder judge Linda Pierson for this great honour.

MAR 10, 2012 - FRANKIE WINS BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Wow, what a day!! We were thrilled to hear that Frankie's sire, Indy (Ch. Sengalas Indiana Jones) won Best of Breed
and a Group 2nd at Crufts today over an entry of over 300 Beardies. Frankie's littersister won Best Puppy In Breed
at Crufts and Frankie (Ch. Sengalas Frankly Classical) won Best Puppy In Show today at the Purina National in Canada.

MAR 9, 2012 - FRANKIE FINISHES HIS CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A BOB WITH OVER SPECIALS

At the Purina National, Frankie (Sengalas Frankly Classical) won the breed over Specials to finish
his Canadian Championship. We are very proud of our young English import who is make heads
turn wherever he goes. Frankie was bred by Nick and Angela May, Sengalas Bearded Collies
(UK's Top Breeder 2011), sired by Ch. Sengalas Indiana Jones (UK's Top Beardie 2011)
out of Ch. Philemon Secret Smile with Sengalas (UK's Top Beardie 2010.

It was a very hot, humid and windy day in Vero Beach, FL today but Boomer had an amazing run in Open
Standard at the Treasure Coast Kennel Club agility trials and he won 1st in his class and earned his Open Agility title

FEB 11-12, 2012 - BETTY EARNS TWO AGILITY TITLES

We are very proud of Betty, Ch. Betty de Lariomar, who went to her first AKC agility trial in January and just a
few weeks later earned both her her NA (Novice Agility) and NAJ (Novice Agility Jumpers with Weaves) titles at the Marion
Alachua dog Training Association Trials in Ocala, FL. As Betty was born in Cuba she was not eligible
to compete in AKC trials under she was spayed, so at 8 years of age she is now able to compete. Betty is handled
by her dad, Kevin and this is Betty and Kevins first agility titles, congratulations to both.

DEC 16-18, 2011 - LEXI EARNS HER AM. CH. AND AOE AT EUKANUBA
 
In February, Lexi (Ch. Classical Alexis On Fire) won Best Bred By at the Eukanuba Top 100 competition
 and won an all expense paid trip to Orlando, FL to represent Canada at the Eukanuba Breeder's Stakes.
She arrived in FL a day early to compete in the all breed show where she completed her American Championship.
At the AKC Eukanuba National Championship, Lexi earned an Award of Excellence. It was a special weekend which we
shared with many friends, thank you for all of your support!

AUG 25-27, 2011 - RHETT IS NOW A CANADIAN & AMERICAN CHAMPION

Rhett (Am.Ch. Classical Master Rhett) came back up to Canada for the Havanese National Specialty weekend
and went Winners Dog at the first two shows to finish his Canadian Championship. We moved him up for the National and
he made it to the final 3 male Specials. Rhett demands attention wherever he goes and we are very proud of him.

AUG 16-18, 2011 - BCCC NATIONAL SPECIALTY

We attended the Bearded Collie Club of Canada National Specialty this week in Belleville, ON. It was wonderful to
spend time with so many friends that we often only see once or twice or year.

Under sweeps judge Susan Lybrand, Denzel (Can.Am.Ch. Pattishawl Causin Applause) won Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweeps
and Danni (Can.Am.Ch. Classical's Wonder Woman) won 1st in the 11+ female class.

Under English breeder judge Ann Andrews, we had 3 bitch Specials entered, 3 generations and all 3 made it to the final cut.
Lexi (Can.Am.Ch. Classical's Alexis On Fire) won Best of Opposite Sex and her mother, Judy (Can.Am.Ch.Kaboodle's
Judge Judy N D'Skys) was awarded #1 Select and Lexi's daughter Madison (Ch. Classical's Playin' With Fire) making
the final cut. Denzel won Best Veteran In Specialty and one of his daughters was Best Veteran Bitch. Other Classical wins
include Truman (Am.Ch. Classical's Truly Irresistible) 2nd in Veteran Dog, Kate (Am.Ch. Kaboodle Kate) 2nd in Open Bitch and
Juno (Memorylane Who's That Girl) 3rd in Open Bitch. Judy also also Best Brood Bitch.Thank you to Bill Blottner

AUG 11, 2011 - LEXI WINS RESERVE BEST IN SHOW

Lexi  went Reserve Best In Show today at the Kilbride District Kennel Club show. Although Lexi has won
Best In Show's before, this was the first time that she has won a Reserve Best In Show.

JULY 30, 2011 - FRANKIE WINS BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW

Our new Beardie puppy, Frankie, (Sengelas Frankly Classical) arrived from England at the end of June and at his first show
 he managed to charm his way all the way to the top to win Best Baby Puppy In Show at the Barrie Kennel Club Show.
Lexi won another Group 1st at this show as well.

JULY 20-23, 2011 - HCA NATIONAL

We went to the Havanese National in Durham, NC and had a wonderful time in spite of the over 100 degree
temperatures every day, thank goodness we were showing indoors. On the first day we competed in agility
where Boomer (Can.Am.Ch. Amor's Who Could Resist, NA, NAJ, AGN, AGNJ, SJ) earned his 1st Q in Open
 and was Highest Scoring Havanese in Open JWW. The following day Buzy (Am GCh. Classical Wincroft Stargazer)
won Grand Champion Select Bitch at the Regional Specialty. Gloria (Classical's I've Got a Feeling) earned a placement
 in her Sweepstakes class and in Open bitch at the National. Even though Fiona (Can.Am.GCh.Classical
 Once Upon A Time) didn't get a ribbon, we are very proud that she made it to the final cut of only 3 bitch specials for BISS.
Boomer won 2nd in the stud dog class. Boomer, Gloria & Fiona were owner handled.

Congratulations to Rhett (Classical Master Rhett) and his co-owners, Sue Magoss and Rita Thomas on finishing
his championship on June 16 in New York. Rhett is the 3rd progeny to finish this year for both his sire Boomer
 (Can.Am.Ch. Amor's Who Could Resist) and his dam Rosie (Can.Am.Ch. Wincroft's Little Dust Bunny).
The next day he was moved up and he won Best of Breed, followed by Best of Opposite Sex
 the next day and then 1st Select on the last day.

APRIL 10, 2011 - FIONA FINISHES HER AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Fiona (Ch. Classical's Once Upon A Time) went Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex today
at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show in Birch Run, MI. under judge Joseph Gregory. Fiona finished her Canadian
Championship at 6 months and 3 days of age and now at only 11 months of age, she is already a dual Champion.
Fiona is out of Boomer (Can.Am.Ch. Amor's Who Could Resist) and Violet (Ch. Classical Little Miss Show Off).
Joseph Gregory also finished Boomer in the US at the LEHC Specialty in 2009.

MARCH 26/27, 2011 - BOOMER EARNS TWO AKC AGILITY TITLES IN ONE WEEKEND

Boomer (Can.Am.Ch. Amor's Who Could Resist) went to AKC agility trials this weekend and he had a
fabulous standard run on Saturday, 30 seconds under the course time to earn 1st in his class and his NA
(Novice Agility) title. On Sunday he earned a 1st in his class in jumpers to earn his NAJ (Novice Agility Jumpers)
title. Even though it was 90 degrees both days, he ran amazingly and earned two new titles on one weekend.



MARCH 25/26, 2011 - LEXI WINS 2 GROUP 1ST IN SUDBURY

Lexi, (MBIS GCh. Classical Alexis On Fire, CD, RN, RA, CGN) attended two days of the Nickel District Kennel Club
shows (unfortunately Julie had to work the third day) and Lexi won Group 1st under Chris Nielson and Jim Bricknell
and Group 2nds under Mary White & Judy Taylor. Thank you judges for recognizing this outstanding Beardie bitch.
