Denzel is an outstanding brown & white Beardie who was born
in England on
January 25, 2002, out of Eng. Gillaber Drummond, JW and Potterdale
Performance. Denzel was bred by Linda & Steve Evans of Pattishawl
Bearded Collies.
Below you will find Denzel's pedigree and some photos of Denzel as a
baby, growing up, in the showing and in the agility ring.
Denzel started his show career in Canada at 6
months of age winning a Best Puppy in Show at his very first show.
At his second show weekend, he repeated winning another Best Puppy
In Show and a Group Placement. He finished his Canadian championship
winning Best of Breed over BIS competition and another Group
Placement.
In the US, Denzel has only been show 3 times,
completing his champion with 3 five point majors, all under breeder
judges. He won Best of Winners & Select at the NCBCC Specialty in
April 2003 under English Breeder Judge Gill Burfitt, Best of Winners
under American Breeder Judge Chris Walkowicz in December 2003 and
then Best of Winners & Select at the GLBCC Specialty in July 2004
under English Breeder Judge Wendy Hines.
Although still a young dog, Denzel has already
proved himself as a very desirable stud dog. We are very pleased
with the quality that he is producing. His young daughter, Delilah,
Meadow's Nothing So Delightful, won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners &
Select at the 2004 BCCA National Specialty. His son, Cowboy, Ch. Kaboodle's Classical Cowboy, won Winners Dog & Best of Winners at
the 2004 CBCC Specialty under English/Canadian Breeder Judge Ian
Copus. His son, Jamie, Kaboodle's Lord Fairmont won Winners Dog &
Best of Winners at the 2004 NWBCC Specialty under American Breeder
Judge Susan Taylor. We are thrilled that his 12 month old daughter,
Alva, Curiosity's Watch Me Fly, won 1st in the Junior Special Bitch
class at 2005 Crufts. Alva was born and lives in Finland
